
A Little about CLARE
Clare, a versatile artist from T aiwan, holds a Master degree in Vocal Performance - Music
Theatre from New York University. She has university training in Musicology, Pedagogy, and
Theatre and 20-year training in Music, all of which has provided the foundation for her
professional career as a musician, vocalist, and an actress. She has performed in numerous
occasions, including singing for Chinese movie Tiny Times I (小時代) soundtrack, the World
Games in 2009 – The Night of the Art, and Malan Breton’s 2015 and 2016 NY fashion show as
Soprano solo. Her NYC theatre credits include: off-off-Broadway play Midnight Kill (Lead, World
premiere), Exile 5.42 (Lead), Comfort Women – A New Musical (Off-Broadway), Behind The
Mask (Lead, US premiere), 4@15 - Octopus Heart (Sea Siren/Lead). Opera credits in National
Theatre in T aiwan: Sapho (Andalouse, T aiwan premiere), Lucia di Lammermoor. Short film
credits: Forever Shakespeare (Lead), Ecstasy Boulevard (Lead). Commercial credits include
Ritz Carlton Hotel AD (voiceover, NYC). She has been seen recently in Disney Fantasy
Symphony Live in Concert T aiwan T our, ViewSonic screen product TVC (Lead), JHT Sports
product AD (Lead), LISTERINE® TVC (Lead), Mzyme Image Advertising (Lead), and she has
been recently heard as Dora, lead voice-over, in a VR film, Dora, released in October 2023 at
Kaohsiung Film Festival. She is now working extensively as an actress, singer, Musical
coach/Voice instructor, and Musical Theatre General Coordinator in The Association of Vocal
Artists of R.O.C (Taiwan).
